The Hydros is our first Spinning rod under the Pandion brand name. With this rod we have aimed to make a quality rod at a very competitive price.
The Hydros is a perfectly balanced rod. The 35 tons HM/UD Carbon blank has a lot of power for long casting, but yet is sensitive so that you can detect those subtle takes. The features of the blank alone, is something you normally only see in rods at a much higher price.
The rods are in 4 pcs for easy transportation, and each joint is genuine Spigot for maximum strength and minimal effect on the rod action.
The powerful, yet delicate action is perfect for all kind of spin fishing where you need distance casting, yet especially the smaller models have superb accuracy due to the UD layup of the carbon (UD = Uni Directional)
The dark grey color of the blank is matched perfectly with the metallic blue fittings, like the inner ring of the zirconia guides, the tippings and slim contrasting sections in the reel seat and butt cap.
